As best I can tell, the elemental scrolls are just extra attacks during combats.  If you hit the Orcalium (Oraculum, Ormacamicamihammalumlumyulum) during combat, and then you hit the slot that corresponds to the scroll you have (the various torches light up to indicate which you own and which you don't), then you cast the spell and do damage.

I believe, in theory, certain monsters have resistances to certain elements, and perhaps weaknesses, but I have yet to figure out how to determine that.

And look who makes the mispronunciation joke on the forums?! HUH?!

Should we see who else is interesteda s the con is now less than 2 months away?  Room to be reserved perhaps?  Do we know if the Jockey Club even has room for us with the AEE in town?

We are Q-list celebrities at best. Go for some A and B list.

I kept up hope for exploding cranium.  I was disappointed.

Video Games / Re: Space Marine, or Rage?

The Space Marine campaign wasn't as long as I wanted it to be.  I was more satisfied with the length of Doom 3 than Space Marine.  That's a point in Rage's favor.

StingRay continues to wait, probably sat in a chair while a cat trembles beneath his hand.

It trembles because you make da sexing with it.  It's true.

It's a cool idea, but I think until the exercises are linked to examples, I'm not likely to use it that much.  This feels like a site for someone who already knows what they're doing in the gym, but just needs motivation to go more often.  I have no idea what I'm doing in the gym, and thus have no idea where to begin on this site.

I did some weight lifting in High School.  It just takes some research into what muscle groups you want to work on and you can find examples all over the net.

I agree the sheer number of potential exercises is staggering, but once you know the names of what you're doing, then it's easy.

I will have to re-listen to the first 1/2 of the show as I got distracted by work many times this morning.  Perhaps on the ride home.

Good topic, I'm curious on what the next few weeks will be like.

I'm guessing Kim & Tim.

We're a "maybe" at best.  Definitely want to go, but no idea what finances are going to look like.

With three votes that should be enough to seal the deal.  Do we have even an initial bodycount for this bad boy?

That being said, we should get rooms in a timely manner, as they will most likely disappear quickly.  If my research is right, the AEE is at the Hard Rock, which isn't exactly prime.

We still thinking Jockey Club again?

I am *always* down for a Vegas trip.  That being said, I'm good with wherever we end up.

I like the block idea, as it sets some sort of schedule and allows those of us who want to skip a "block" (like learning Craps) to have an idea when to reconvene.  If we do Vegas, I will have my truck there, but I will most likely fly to Denver if we do it there.

Is there a hotel that we can get decent rates, or double rooms like The Jockey Club, in Denver, that won't be hell on the pocket book for getting around since Denver will most likely be heavier on Taxis?
