Apple isn't exactly at the top of my list (see Kore News 100 video edition). Apple has some interesting products, but even the journalists at the top of their game that are Apple fanboys and have all the apple products make fun of the company and call it backward.

I own an iMac (I'm a webdesigner and use it for cross-compatibility testing) and 3 iPods, so take this with a grain of salt, but I don't find Apple that interesting... all we'd be able to talk about every week would be which rumor is the most popular and try to fill the other 59 minutes with banter. A generic tech show, however interests me and I wouldn't mind having a Mac guy on it. :)

There were a couple extended episodes where I put some more music in there... there's usually 5 songs per episode... like #140. Is that too many for ya? I think it's about 12 mins in the break.

We're actually going to dial it back for a while... we're taking 9 shows down to 3. :(

I keep getting burned out, so hopefully this will be the solution. Official announcement in Kore News soon.

Kore New Media / Kore Forums.com Moved...

With the number of fans that hit the forums and the number of robot attacks, I've decided to take the forums down, semi-permanently and chill here with our friends at Spooky Outhouse!

What email address should we reply to?
Yeah, sometimes I don't think things all the way through, sorry!

General Discussion / Recruiting Hosts for New Kore New Media Shows
« on: July 17, 2009, 10:14:33 AM »
Greets!

I'm looking for hosts for 2 new shows:
Kore Green
Kore Technical

Green is a show about what's going on with conservation, tips to save electricity, environment, etc. This will not be a militant STOP EATING TASTY ANIMALS podcast, it'll still retain KNM's brand of humor, innuendo and fun, but will deviate and take a serious look at things once in a while. I'm thinking this could be 30 minutes, once a week. Seeking 1 host for this show.

Technical is a show dealing with today's technology from watches to computers, news and rumors. This will be one 60-90 minute episode once a week. PreReq: Must have some knowledge of technology for better discussions on various things (Computer tech, etc. preferred). Seeking 1-2 hosts for this show.

I'd like to see both shows premiere by the end of August.

Requirements: Must own a USB mic/headset (aka boomset). Must adhere to schedule.
Preferences: Central/Eastern Time Zones.

If you're interested, you can reply/PM/email (preferred) and we'll discuss details.

If you don't know anything about Kore New Media, we produce 9 shows currently, about 20 episodes a month. We've got 7,000 listeners and are growing by 500-900 each month.

I really enjoyed the interview you guys did with the Alpha Omega designers from Mindstorm Labs.

Really showcased the game well and has piqued my interest.
Sorry for taking so long to reply to this...

Thanks for the props! Do you have a wishlist of other folks you'd like to hear interviewed?
