« on: October 11, 2010, 09:40:27 AM »
We had a chance to talk with Aubrey de Grey theoretician in the field of gerontology and the Chief Science Officer of the SENS Foundation. It a fascinating interview and completly different then anything we've done before. Check it out and let us know what you think!

This was a really great interview.  I enjoyed it thoroughly, beginning to end.  I especially enjoyed the after-interview discussion between you and Mike.  In a lot of ways, I think those discussions (from anyone, on the rare occasions they're included) are more interesting than the interview itself.

Great job.

Thanks. I'm surprised on the positive response to the post-interview discussion. I figured the actual interview would be more impressive. *shrugs*

Thanks though! Glad you enjoyed it!

It's been a little while since I listened to the interview (for whatever reason I just now noticed your post here), so I can't give specifics as to why the after-discussion stuck out to me, but I recall it cast the interview in a different light and comparing your takeaways and impressions with mine was entertaining.

The interview was impressive, don't get me wrong, but the post-interview stuff helped expand it from Random Conversation With Random (Albeit Interesting) Guy.
