I agree that a lot of board games are pretty expensive these days. It definitely helps if more than one person in your circle of friends buys games. I've gotten to play Arkham Horror and Battlestar Galactica that way, both of which were pretty fun, but neither of which I could ever afford.

I would like to play alot of different boardgames but they are too expensive.  Hopefully I get to try out some at Gen Con.
