Teams can easily hit 2000 TV after 10 games. BB isn't really about 2000+ teams, IMO.
Can but most often won't. Further to that the increase of TV does slow down as you get higher, which coupled with spiralling expenses after 1750tv helps to naturally halt most teams.
Once you hit that 2000+ mark then typically I would expect the team to cut down dramatically or not return the next season. I think there is a definite place for them in Blood Bowl but that's in a specialised league where people would then be allowed to build 1500 teams coming in.
Really I'm talking about teams in the 1400 -1750 range, who have definite advantages with skills but quite often aren't *ridiculously* good. Anyone above that is definitely going to have trouble getting games for quite some time, which is why I think cutting down TV would be a good option. You can still keep the core of your team to give you that edge and allow you to keep record holding players etc. but you end up compromising with rookie linemen, maybe a RR or two less.
Like I said, I don't think TV is always the best way to judge a match up anyway but one of the problems is that we haven't had a reliable system of seeing everyone's current roster. BBM and the PC game is flawed in that regard.
